It is imperative to have certain characteristics, both professionally and personally, to be effective in an industry that is saturated with competition. It was not uncommon in my early travels to hear feedback on staffing agencies being a "dime a dozen." I knew that in order to be successful I would have to distinguish myself from the rest.
